ورزش و کلسترول
ورزش منظم روزانه- مانند تند رفتن با پای پیاده، شنا و یا دوچرخه سواری- می تواند به بهبود سطح کلسترول خون شما کمک کند. ورزش سبب اضافه شدن سطح HDL کلسترول (یا کلسترول پشتیبان) می گردد، ولی تأثیری در LDL کلسترول ندارد.
ورزش می تواند نقش مهم دیگری نیز در حمایت از شما داشته باشد و موجب شود که شما وزن بدن خودتان را دوباره در سطح ایده آل و سالم قرار دهید. افراد چاق و فربه احتمال دارد دارای کلسترول سطح بالای خون باشند. ساده ترین ورزش، دویدن است. روزانه میلیونها نفر میدوند. از دونده های حرفه ای تا کسانی که گاهگاهی برای تفریح، به خاطر ورزش یا برای حفظ سلامتی این کار را انجام میدهند. ورزش دو یکی از رایج ترین ورزش های آئروبیک یا هوازی است. از دویدن برای کنترل وزن، کاهش استرس، کم کردن فشار خون و کاهش کلسترول استفاده میشود که واقعا موثر است. دویدن ورزش نسبتا بی ضرر و امنی است با این حال میتواند موجب بروز آسیب های احتمالی در سیستم حرکتی بدن انسان هم بشود.
